Duties:

• Provides safe and friendly transport services for critical and non-critical patients.
• Contracted with multiple facilities in Denver Metro area to provide emergent care for critical and non-critical patients.
• Prepares to transport patients by completing operator vehicle inspections; inventorying supplies; correcting deficiencies.
• Responds to emergencies by choosing route; observing traffic conditions; avoiding dangerous situations; maintaining communications with dispatch.
• Determines medical and safety requirements at emergency scene by assessing medical status of ill or injured persons; assessing prevailing circumstances; calling for support.
• Completes all patient care reports by end of shift.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; bench marking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies. Mile High Ambulance is a State Certified Learning Center and provides CE opportunities for all Employees.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Physical Requirements: Some heavy lifting.

Pay: From $30.00 per hour
