Summary
3D Production Designers display an overall knowledge of Freeman’s modular build systems, capabilities, and limitations. Are fluent in AutoCAD and familiar with / willing to learn FreemanCAD, & Freeman3D. They work directly with the growth department and are client-facing when needed.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Manipulates booth layouts to maximize exhibit space or meet customer’s specific needs.
- Utilizes electronic file management systems and related software to appropriately create and maintain all pertinent digital files and records according to established practices and procedures.
- Employs CADD file maintenance standards, practices, and procedures as directed.
- Utilizes time accounting software to maintain accurate individual records of times worked, including time spent working on assigned projects or performing other assigned duties.
- Participates in training and development activities as directed.
- Must be fluent in AutoCAD.
- General understanding of modular build systems, BeMatrix, Moss EZ Wall.
- Knowledge of drafting and/or spatial planning.
- Detail oriented.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple and competing priorities.
- Good written and verbal communication style.
- Ability to manipulate booth layouts to maximize exhibit space or meet customer’s specific needs.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
- Associate’s Degree or training in Mechanical or Architectural Drafting or Computer aided Drawing (CAD) from a college or trade school
- Minimum 2 years related experience
