We are looking for a thorough Maintenance Technician for our 2nd and 3rd Shift Operation to undertake the responsibility to preserve the good condition and functionality of premises and equipment.

Flexiblity in scheduling to 3 x 12 hour shifts, Sun-Mon-Tues or Wed-Thur-Fri (e.g.4a-4p or 4p-4a). Open to rotation in schedule to maximize work-life balance.

You will perform maintenance tasks of great variety such as painting, HVAC installations, landscaping etc. A Maintenance Technician is a thorough professional with a practical mind and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously and responsibly by observing all health and safety guidelines. The goal is to maintain the buildings and common areas in the best possible condition.

Ideal candidates will be independent in the working environment, self starter, great aptitude and attitude, able to trouble shoot with Production Supervisors to understand the need and direction of the operation. A self-starter and motivator, sharing information to 1st shift team on issues that arise and ability to provide direction for a 24/7 production.

Responsibilities

• Work on and with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Predictive maintenance knowledge and utilization
• Industrial mechanical knowledge using motors, gearboxes, chains, sprockets, conveyor systems, 3 phase electrical systems
• Basic computer skills
• Team orientated, self-starter/motivator
• Will work automatously
• Provide hands-on support through troubleshooting equipment faults for diagnose problems and complete repairs
• Perform preventative maintenance on all production and building systems
• Facility and grounds maintenance

Skills

• Proven experience as maintenance technician
• Will provide training
• Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic and other systems
• Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
• Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices
• Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
• Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work overtime
• Minimum 2 years experience in direct work with Industrial Maintenance in Plant and Facilities environment

Preferred

• Electrical schematic, wiring and control knowledge
• Familiarity with PLC's and VFD's
• Welding, cutting, and fabrication
