A Day in the Life
As an Integrated Data Solutions (IDS) Trainee, you will be working with NS Operations and NS internal stakeholders to improve the quality of data used across the network. As an IDS member, you will assist with managing all agreement employees.
Job Responsibilities
- Accurate reporting to assist with improving customer’s experience
- Communicate regularly and thoroughly with internal and external customers
- Ensure timely reporting and reduced exceptions to keep cars moving
- Flexibility in a dynamic work environment
- Provide feedback for technology and automation that empowers the workforce
- Seek innovative ways to streamline processes and expedite resolutions
Qualifications/Skills
- Ability to analyze and interpret data to provide innovative solutions
- Ability to identify problems with resolutions in fast paced environment
- Excellent time management and follow up skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Interpersonal Skills
- Must be able to perform in a team environment.
Education/ Experience
- Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree
- Preferred Majors: Internal Business, Logistics, Marketing, Statistics, Supply Chain Management, Transportation Management, and majors in a similar field of study will be considered.
