2022-2023 Literacy Teacher Job at Summer Scholars

Summer Scholars United States

Scholars Unlimited is a community-based non-profit program helping young learners master critical literacy skills. Our after-school program is geared toward grades K-5 and includes reading, SEL, STEM, and enrichment components. These programs are educational, engaging, and effective.

As a teacher, you will be part of Scholars Unlimited's caring team of dedicated professionals who serve the youth in our community. Teachers work with small groups of elementary students who are emerging readers. Teachers will help students build reading skills focusing on fluency, phonemic awareness, phonics, and comprehension.

Scholars Unlimited's program will start September 6, 2023, and end May 12, 2023. The program will be held in our partner schools in Central Denver, Southwest Denver, Northeast Denver, North Aurora, Sheridan, and Westminster. Hours of the program will vary with the school's dismissal bell times. Typically the hours may be 3:15 to 5:00 p.m. Teachers work four days a week.
